2008 Dodge Ram QC 15 4×4 Hemi ~21500 miles

March 12th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Trucks

I am offering to sell my Detonator Yellow Ram Quad Cab, as it is a lease and about to go back to bank in 2 months or so…..I would rather this go to someone and not back to the bank then to the dealer for 3-4k more…..Private Party sale is about $23200 w/o tonneau cover & remote start. My payoff is less than that……If you are looking for a Good truck, that hasnt been abused this is it (or i’d jsut give it back to bank)….it was my daily driver to work and to tow my 19 fishing boat…..It is the sport model painted grill and rear bumper, but has chrome added…It has a chrome bug guard, Mopar chrome Tube style running boards, Chrome Gas tank cover and A folding tonneau cover w/bed liner. It has never had any repairs on it (nor accidents), and taken to local dealership for Oil changes (heck I cant do it myself for what they charge on special $9.99). Tires are very good with the 20″ Rims and tires. It needs nothing…..It has the grey cloth interior. I have remote start/keyless entry on it now and may be willing to leave it on there depending on price…if not it will go into my new truck…as stated I dont need to sell this, I just know that the bank/dealer is going to sell this for $25700 or so (one just like mine at local dealer with a few more miles) It would still have factory warranty to 36k or feb 1st 2011. Im located in Grand Rapids, MI but may be willing to meet possibly!

Note from Editor: Please leave a comment if you are interested and we will put you in contact with the owner.

who has parts for a 1993 D150

March 8th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Trucks

My local dealer cannot get parts anymore for a 1993 D150. No wonder the companies go bankrupt with that level of service. I need fuel lines etc. Does anyone know where to look?

Contribution from Roberta: My Amazing Dodge Dakota “Grace”

March 6th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Trucks

I want to share the story of my 2000 Dodge Dakota, lovingly known in our household as “Grace”. I purchased this truck used from a local dealer with 68,000 miles. At the time, I was working in construction and traveling anywhere from 500 to 1600 miles per week hauling air conditioning and electrical materials and equipment. I did that for about 2 years with “Grace” and she never failed me once or left me stranded. That’s important, because, believe it or not, I am a woman that did construction work and was traveling alone all hours of the day and night. Due to health reasons, I had to give up that line of work about 3 years ago. By that time, my husband became disabled and had to quit work, so we downsized out of necessity to one vehicle. The one vehicle we decided to rely on was “Grace”. She had over 200,00 miles on the dash by then, but never gave us any problems and was always reliable. With the money crunch that came with the disability and the change in career that we faced, we could only hope and pray that “Grace” would stay on the road. The mileage was so high and we weren’t financially able to make any repairs or preventative maintenance. To make a long story short, “Grace” passed on last weekend. She is now resting in our driveway waiting on her “transplant” as we cannot part with her and have decided to have another engine installed when we can afford it. My husband and I have told our story of “Grace” to our friends and family so many times in the past, that they really don’t believe us. During the 6 1/2 years we’ve owned our Dodge, here is a listing of the maintenance (other than regular oil changes) items we have had to do:
1) Replaced original battery about 1 year ago
2) Replaced the muffler about 4 1/2 years ago
3) Installed a new thermostat about a year ago
4) Installed two (2) sets of tires
That’s it!!! No plugs, no belts, no hoses, etc.
Now, does that sound amazing? When you hear that “Grace” finally left us with 299,000 miles, it’s really amazing. Up until the day of the tragic event, she still ran as well as the day we picked her up at the dealership. I know that sounds unbelievable but it’s true. We always believed that angels put “Grace” together just for us at the Dodge plant. With our financial situation in the past 3 years, an ordinary car or truck would have put us under with repairs. “Grace” safely got us to work and to the places we needed to be without ever asking for anything in return from us. It’s my belief that if all Dodge trucks were like our beloved “Grace”, Americans would drive NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!! So, please say a prayer for us and “Grace” that we will be able to get her on the road once more so that we can spread our story for several more years to come. We thank God for his amazing grace and for giving us our “Grace”.

The Dodge Ram SRT-10: Built for Speed

March 2nd, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Ram, Dodge Trucks

The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is a vehicle built for speed among many other things. The Dodge Ram has an incredible top speed of 150mph and unsurprisingly, has the biggest engine so far in what is known as a performance pickup vehicle. The Dodge Ra, SRT-10 wants to be the biggest and the baddest truck on the block anywhere, it certainly lives up to this claim! The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is a sports pickup truck and fulfils needs other trucks cannot even get close to.

The Dodge Ram SRT-10 had much more than just a large engine and a fast speed, it also has supersized many other of its features. With the largest wheels and tires as standard, the biggest brakes in its vehicle class and a high powered acceleration underneath that macho exterior.

Introducing the Dodge Dakota

February 26th, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Dakota

The Dodge Dakota is one of the first middle sized pickup trucks available on the market. If you have always wanted a pickup truck but never had the room, now is your chance to own a fine example of a pickup truck.

The midsized Dodge Dakotas fits nicely into a market that was crying out for something different. The small and cramped pickup trucks were too small for some and the large pickup trucks like the Dodge Ram are just too large for some. The Dodge Dakota takes pride of place neatly in the middle of those two.

Introducing the Dodge Ram

February 23rd, 2010 No Comments   Posted in Dodge Ram

The Dodge Rams are a full sized monster of the pickup truck breed. They are from the Chrysler Dodge range of vehicles and they are immensely popular. The Dodge Ram trucks have been named truck of the year by Motor Trend for two years, in 1994 and in 2003.

The new Dodge Ram is a beauty and is greatly improved and revised. The 2009 Ram, which was introduced in January 2008, has revised engines, new rear suspension that includes coil springs that are neatly fitted to the solid rear axle, an interior that is beautiful and luxurious, storage systems that solve more or less every problem ever thought of and lots of other gadgets that will keep Dodge owners gasping.

The 2009 Dodge Ram also has an amazing acceleration speed. It will go from 0-60 mph in only 7 seconds – this is no mean feat for a truck and sets the stage for others to follow. This engine is only available on higher models and the normal trucks have a V8 engine.
